Go to http://pls.lib.overdrive.com
Click Sign In
Choose Peninsula Library System from the dropdown list
Enter your PLS library card #

EBSCOhost Research Database ebooks (formerly Netlibrary) – 1 week checkout period, or read online

FROM INSIDE a PLS Library, go to http://search.ebscohost.com on a library PC, your laptop, or your mobile device
Click EBSCOhost Research Databases
Click Sign In
Click Create a new Account
Fill out the form and click Save Changes
Now visit EBSCOhost ebooks from anywhere, and log in using the name & password you created

OpenLibrary.org – No limit on public domain ebooks; 2 week checkout for Lending Library ebooks

No login required for 1,000,000 eBooks in public domain (most published before the 20^thcentury)

Click Sign Up and create a username & password to join the eBook Lending Library, and also get 110,000 books published in the 20^thcentury.

Safari IT Books – no checkout, must be read online; iPad/iPhone users can cache one book at a time for offline reading, using Safari To Go app
